Happy Thursday afternoon, everyone. I hope everyone is having a good day. I’ve been laid up for two days. I over it did it digging up stumps and roots Tuesday and hurt my lower back. I fully intend to be back at it tomorrow, though.
I know…I know it’s Hostage's release, and I have something for you guys that will be pinned to Alone's page tomorrow, but I’m still going to work in my yard most of the day as well.
Being laid up means that I have gotten some work done. I’m nearly finished with the second draft of Tera. I’m going to have to add a chapter or two to correct the inconsistencies I found between it and Shore Haven, making the short story even longer. If it gets any longer, I’ll have to market it as a novella.
I’m slowly working on Awake’s notes from its first round of edits when not working on Tera, which means I haven’t done anything with Fated. Sorry.

Happy Friday morning, everyone. I hope everyone has big plans for the weekend. My goal is to stay dry. We’re expecting rain all weekend. Boo!!!
I haven’t spent as much time in my yard as I wanted because one day I had to be an adult and change life insurance policies because the one I got when I was twenty wasn’t full life like I thought, then it rained. I did mow Monday. Only the third time in my entire life I’ve ever mowed grass, and this time it didn’t take me two days two do it. I also managed to get an odd-looking sunburn Sunday while finishing digging up a stump. Don’t ask me how. I have no clue.
Since I have only spent three days in the yard, I have been a bit productive. I finished Tera, discovered some inconsistencies between it and Shore Haven, and am now working to fix those in this second draft.
Awake came back from its first round of edits. I’ve been diligently working on those when not working on Tera, which means I haven’t done anything with Fated. Sorry. My brain can only hold so many storylines at once.
Hostage is still set to come out on May 17th. As I mentioned last week, D2D doesn’t allow pre-orders on free stuff and Amazon doesn’t allow free at all without a price match, so it isn’t available for pre-order anywhere, but the date is firm.
Two of the events I mentioned last week have started, so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this NL to check them out. I’m also still contemplating doing a giveaway for Hostage’s release, meaning keep an eye on Alone’s FB page next week for it.
