Sorry for not updating you last week, I was sick. I did get a little writing done, but not much.
I think the new alien piece will be a novella. I'm only on the first draft and about 30,000 words, so that could change later on, but right now, I feel as if I'm about halfway through the story, so it'll end around 60,000. It's a bit of a relief because Awake and Shore Haven are fairly long. I also have a much better idea of the why of the novel. Of course, I can't say anything at this time, as things tend to change.
This week is starting out better, so hopefully, next week's update will be more informative.
