Today is release day for Leaving Liberty. You can read most of the short story on Goodreads and on my Website. (I should have all of the chapters up by the end of the weekend.) D2D is gradually sending me all of the links as they go live. I will not have an Amazon link for another week or so. I want the short story free for a bit before it goes live on Amazon in the hopes that they will price match it sooner. I don’t want anyone paying $0.99 for it when it will be free.
Hostage is slowly going through betas, but I’m waiting for LL to be out for a bit before I set a release date for it. As I said last week, my head will explode if I do too much.
Childhood’s End is back from editing, but I haven’t look at her notes.
I’m on my third draft of Nowhere to Go, another Shore Haven short story this week. I feel like I need to give it one more read-through before sending it to editing, so it’ll probably be another week or so before I start the next short story. I still don’t have a title for it.
Just like every week since I started working on Fated again, I’ve made very little headway. Some of that had to do with the fact that Marked’s narrator submitted final files this week, and I spent a lot of the beginning of the week reviewing them. I’ve approved the audiobook. Now we are waiting for ACX to do their thing. Yay!
Most of what I’ve done this week is write, get ready for LL release, and clean house. Yesterday, I spent most of the day on the sofa. I didn’t feel well. I wasn’t sick or anything. I just wasn’t in the mood to be a person. I guess that is the best way to put things. Today, I plan to get out of the house for a few hours.
I guess that’s it for the week. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
