Morning everyone. As always, I hope your Friday is going well. I’m hurting. I’ve been working in my yard most of the week. I’ve been digging up tree roots, trimming trees, and planting the prettiest Asiatic Lily. I really hope I don’t kill it.
As can probably guess, I haven’t been all that productive, writing-wise. We’ve had so much rain these last few months that I had to take advantage of the sunshine. It worked. My last set blood work from my doctor said I didn’t need to take a V-D supplement. That’s a first in well over a year. Yay!!!
I did manage to write a few chapters on both Tera and Fated. Tera is almost finished. The short story will be my longest to date for the Shore Haven world, but I think it’s pretty awesome. I think I’ve worked out some of the kinks in how I want Fated to end, but I realized that there isn’t enough romance in it considering it’s a romance novella, so when I start the next draft, I’ll have to work on that. I guess that’s a product of me working on all these PA stories while trying to write a romance.
Hostage will be out in May. I’m not sure when yet, but I’m thinking mid-month. I’ve received notes back from nearly all of my betas. Once it’s finalized, I’ll set a date, but I think the 17th, will probably work.
On a more personal side, I think my sinus infection has finally left. No earaches, not sore throat, very little sinus pain or pressure, some sneezing and running nose, but I have been outside and I do have allergies.
We did find out that my poor Lilith was not our poop ball culprit. Everyone, including our vet, thought it was until Midnight left a present in my lap Monday night. He’s a bit constipated and is taking a cat laxative that he isn’t happy about. We also have to switch them to a more adult formula, hairball control cat food. On the plus side, they both seem to like the extremely large litter box we bought them. I didn’t know they made boxes so large. This one was labeled for dogs, but it works for cats too.
Well, that’s it for now. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend.
