Once the Almawt virus hit, human populations were decimated—very few were immune to its touch. Modern societies collapsed and survivors scrambled to sort through the violence and disorder.
Tyler was abandoned during the outbreak—left by his brother who fled the city like so many others. And although his brother made a case for bringing him along, that bridge had already been burned—Tyler’s mental illness deemed too much of a liability by his brother’s wife.
A little over a year later, Tyler finds himself living under a highway overpass, unmedicated and drowning in delusions, believing he is the last, healthy survivor. The voice in his head has convinced him the last remnants of the U.S. Government are out to get him.
As Tyler continues to elude them, they go for the next best thing, his most prized possession. Tyler decides it’s a step too far and takes the fight to their front door.
