After waking in a field naked, battered, bloody, and with no memory of who she is or what happened to her, Olivia “Liv” Stone quickly discovers that roughly four years have passed since she died. A plague has swept her world during that time, killing some and turning most into creatures that only exist in nightmares. Liv fears that in that time, she was one of those beings. How that was possible, and how she was alive and human again, Liv doesn’t know, but she aims to find out.
